Along with teaching, research and social integration activities, technical-scientific and artistic-cultural events take place with the participation of more than 248,000 people every year, including students, professors and public in general.

Since 1967, the “Luis Enrique Erro” Planetarium is the best place to learn about the infinitely large and the infinitely small: from the stars to the cell. It has a planetary projector which simulates outer space. It is a full immersion experience into outer space in order to learn about the universe. 460,000 people visit the Platenatirum every year, mainly children and youngsters.

The Tezozomoc Science and Technology Dissemination Center is a very attractive space to learn about energy: obtention, generation, transformation and use.

The National Science and Technology “Víctor Bravo Ahuja” Library, the “Engineer Salvador Magaña Garduño” Central Library and the other 69 libraries that make up the Institutional Library and Information Services System (SIBSI) feature:
